day 157

daily poem / poetry blog

dawn close by

The new day rose

Like it was nothing

Like she did this all the time

Wrangled the moon to

Sleep with nursery rhymes

Parted mystical curtains

So the orange orb

Could shine.

I saw her a few hours in

Growing stronger getting

Brighter making colours from

Ash and honey wine.

She sipped time from a crystal

Glass ate ripe cherries &

Let me pass.
